The celebrations involved scripture readings, prayer, contemporary music and drama as well as the blessing and official opening of the new Jubilee building.
The sports hall was transformed with flowers and displays creating an inspiring yet calming environment in which the celebration services could take place. Students and staff welcomed their invited guests, including Bishop Christopher Budd from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth and Archdeacon John Rawlings from the Anglican Diocese of Exeter.
Bishop Budd and Archdeacon Rawlings each gave a homily focusing on the theme for the day, 'By our words and actions are we known'.
The new £1.6million Jubilee Building was blessed by Bishop Budd and Archdeacon Rawlings.
After the blessing, both of the honoured guests cut the ribbon to open the doors.
